20 Grassroots Ambassadors from Maine Peoples Alliance (MPA) and Granite State Organizing Project (GSOP) came together in Raymond, New Hampshire this week for a 3 day training led by retirement security staff Wendoly Marte and Burke Stansbury.  It was the first of 7 Grassroots Ambassadors trainings to be held this summer across the country.  Volunteer leaders from the two organizations helped facilitate the various workshops, including sessions on base-building, story-telling, and becoming good spokespeople for the campaign.  Wendoly and Burke led an interactive training on the CCC economic justice messaging that included an opportunity for the leaders to test out the phrases and language which our research suggests we should embrace, and then get critiqued.  GSOP staff person Viola Katusiime led a training about bird-dogging which everyone got to put to the test later that day.
